Three of Dance music greats; R3hab and Nervo team up with vocalist Ayah Marar to bring you Ready For The Weekend. Play this before going out and your weekend will be nothing short of stellar! This Edinburgh, Scotland-raised hip-hop DJ-turned-producer made a name for himself on the U.K. scene following credit on Baby Blue’s autobiographical slice of grime, Sometimes, and a subsequent relocation to London. The song began as an embryo which Zowie produced in his studio he found some acapellas on his PC from a Nervous Records vinyl containing part of the vocal and was written with the intent of being a feel-good track based on the lyrics. The single was released by Positiva Records. It peaked at number one in the UK and Australia, as well as charting at number three on the American Hot Dance Chart.
